In the battle of the “Star” series, one typically associates action figures with the galaxy far, far away. Thanks to Nacelle, however, that association is slowly changing. At New York Comic-Con (NYCC 2025) today, the company announced wave after wave of new Star Trek figures that are sure to excite even the most casual franchise fan. CEO Brian Volk-Weiss presented the future of the company’s Trek toys, and there truly is something for everyone.
One of the benefits of being such a fan of all things Star Trek is that Volk-Weiss was able to create a company “making toys by the fans for the fans.” That notion has led to a slew of new figures, including the entire slate of Wave 2 that Nacelle now available for pre-order. Together with the figures come a number of “deep cut” accessories as well.

In this wave we’ll be getting Shatner Kirk from Generations, complete with his horse and the jar of dill weed from the captains cooking together. Even better – we’re getting Valeris from Star Trek: Undiscovered Country (comes with mashed potatoes with stuck whisk and a pot). If you know, you know….
Nacelle wows with waves of new Star Trek Figures
One of the best features of the new figures is their 1/12th scale. The original inspiration was the a prior set of Trek toys from Diamond Select Toys (no longer in production) with the intent for these to be interchangeable and interactive with other Trek toys of the same scale. With less than a year from the 60th anniversary of Star Trek, the next wave will feature the original series bridge crew. The Nacelle panel featured Uhura – the first prototype for Wave 3.

With Wave 3, Nacelle will begin alternating between assortments and bridge crews. Nacelle gave us a sneak peek of Wave 4, too – one that will feature a unique, black and white figure of Tom Paris (Captain Proton) from Voyager. Perhaps the funniest, if not best news was hearing from Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher) herself, who promoted her next figure in a recorded video. Despite his initial reluctance, Volk-Weiss admitted that he agreed to produce a Dr. Crusher “Sub Rosa” figure after McFadden asked him a simple question: “Do you love money?” Again, if you know, you know.
