Sausage Party: Foodtopia heads back to the table for season 2. Prime Video announced that the adult animated comedy returns on August 13, 2025. That’s eight episodes of Sausage Party: Foodtopia served up piping hot. 240 different countries get the second season of the Prime Video program at the same time! A veritable feast to close out the summer.
New Foodland actually provides a change of scenery for our friends Frank, Barry, and Sammy. This utopia feels like a dream come true for our characters and the humans who live there. Everything is not as it appears. The fridges may be glossy and everyone appears to be happy. Something is deep-fried into the fabric of the idyllic new Sausage Party: Foodtopia destination.
Marion Cotillard hits the table as Dijon. Prime Video describes the new character as “a badass warrior-mustard princess who pilots the most effective humey in New Foodland.” Jillian Bell enters the series as Trish. She’s a nut who wants the best for New Foodland too. Patti Harrison and Martin Star also make their Sausage Party debuts.

Here’s what Prime Video has to say about what’s coming in the next helping: “In Season Two, exiled from home, Frank, Barry, and Sammy soon find themselves in New Foodland, a shining utopia for food and humans alike. But beneath the city’s glossy fridges and cheery smiles lies a dark secret that threatens the entirety of sentient food society.”
Executive producers for Sausage Party: Foodtopia include Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter. Both of them are the showrunners for the Prime Video series too. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s introduction to this world in 2016 unified this team. Point Grey Pictures counts Rogen and Goldberg as producers along with Alex McAtee, James Weaver and Jonah Hill. Madeline Blair is at the controls for the production company as well.
