Fallout Season 2 is hitting Prime video ahead of schedule. Tuesday December 16th at 6:00 PM Pacific Time, you can catch the new adventures across the Wasteland. Originally, fallout was supposed to drop on the 17th, but Prime Video opted to let the post apocalyptic fan favorite hit the streets a little bit earlier.
Here’s what’s coming in the new season of Fallout!: “The new season of Fallout will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. Season Two will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
“Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have,” Prime Video continued. “Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.”
Fallout Season 2 releasing early!

For the first time out on Prime Video, Fallout passed the vibe check with flying colors. THS’s Travis Sloane reviewed the series last year. What we found with Fallout was a video game adaptation that did an amazing job of bridging the gap between series newcomers and longtime fans. In addition to appeasing the gamers who have been waiting a lifetime to see Fallout on the small screen, the series also rendered an action filled emotional narrative that caught us off-guard.
“As is the case with many adaptations, there can be a difficult line to walk between satisfying fans of the original content, while also appealing to a new audience. In this case, I’m glad to say that Fallout does both with great success,” Sloane argued. “I have been a longtime fan of the video game series, so I approached the series with a degree of expectation. There are plenty of easter eggs and moments that fans of the games will pick up on immediately. The creative team behind the show did a fantastic job in that aspect. It truly felt as though you were watching Fallout 5 play out onscreen.”
