Revealed via her Instagram story, Selena Gomez will guest star as Alex Russo in season 2 of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. This series is the continuation of the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel Series Wizards of Waverly Place. Gomez played Alex in four seasons of the series from 2007-2012. You can check out the image of her story revealing the news. It’s provided to us by Disney, where she writes “just feels right” while holding a wand.

Right now, you can catch the first season of the series streaming on Disney+. During its first season, Maria Canals-Barrera also made her return to the franchise as Alex and Justin’s mom, Theresa Russo.
