Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong 2 #2

THE SUICIDE SQUAD’S MISSION IN HOLLOW EARTH GETS EVEN MORE DANGEROUS! In the aftermath of the shocking ending of the last issue, Task Force X must re-evaluate their mission in Hollow Earth as they explore an unknown world. Meanwhile, the Justice League comes face-to-face again with Kong–but it’s not the reunion they are expecting!

Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong 2 #2

I would like to thank you for checking out my review of Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong 2 #2. For those unfamiliar with my reviews, I follow what I call the Three Ss: Simple, Short, and Spoiler-Free. This story picks up right where the explosive cliffhanger of Issue #1 left off, as the chaos in Hollow Earth escalates. Writer Brian Buccellato cranks up the intensity by splitting the action across two fronts. Deep below, the Suicide Squad is stranded and struggling to survive in the savage, unpredictable wilds of Hollow Earth. Meanwhile, the Justice League charges headfirst into a ferocious clash with Kong that then leads to a fight with the Suicide Squad.

Ever since landing on the Monsterverse Earth, the heroes have been constantly on a defensive stance. Shockingly, Superman and Supergirl’s powers are weakened here, and things only get worse as team members fall and get separated. But that’s not all, Superman breaks off to confront Luthor, leaving Wonder Woman and Supergirl alone to deal with the chaos of the Suicide Squad. Things are spiraling fast, and it’s clear the Justice League is losing control fast.

This issue doesn’t just live in the dialogue; it explodes off the page thanks to Christian Duce and Luis Guerrero’s electrifying visuals. They don’t just show Skull Island and Hollow Earth—they immerse you in them. Every panel is a burst of dynamic energy, from the vibrant, eye-popping colors to the intricate detail that gives each scene depth and intensity. This isn’t just comic art—it’s a visual experience that punches through the panels.

Justice League Vs. Godzilla Vs. Kong 2 #2 is a must-read for any DC, Kong, or Godzilla fan. Now, there are a couple of things that kind of bug me a little. One of them is that we see Wonder Woman struggling, and I am still not sure why she ended up needing some help. The other is that a pretty big Titan does not make an appearance in this issue, but that can change in future issues.
