My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is now reaching the same level of popularity as its mainline anime series, methinks. For the 13th and final episode of the season has just made its debut today on June 30, 2025; and it has already earned this spinoff of My Hero Academia quite a bit of critical acclaim. Mostly for how writer Hideyuki Furuhashi and artist Betten Court has achieved a darker storyline that explores the world of MHA before the main story had even begun. Before the era of superheroes had fully realized itself.
It’s that blooming popularity that’s why everyone is so excited about this bit of news after the finale. Toho Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is in the works and all ready for a 2026 release. Exactly when is still up in the air at the moment. However, that release will still be exclusively on Crunchyroll (just as it was with the first season) worldwide when it happens. Well, worldwide save for Asia, where Medialink is the licensing company.
In fact, they’re so eager to announce this that they have a teaser trailer for that upcoming My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, as well as a new teaser visual. You can see both below:
