Netflix is normally not the streaming service you think of when you want to watch anime. However, that seems to be changing in recent times. Netflix is continually adding more and more anime series to its streaming service. Some from other anime streaming services, primarily Crunchyroll. Others are anime that Netflix paid to obtain their licenses, and are currently streaming as Netflix exclusives.
All of that, of course, is why they had such a strong presence at Anime Expo 2025. It’s also why at AX2025, Netflix was proud to announce so many new and returning anime series. You will definitely recognize hit favorites like Sakamoto Days, the final season of Beastars, and even a brand new season of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners as an exceedingly pleasant surprise. Others you might not recognize because they’re either relatively obscure, like Records of Ragnarok, or are entirely new anime adaptations, like The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity.
However, what is clear is that Netflix are very eager to show off all of their incoming anime. Especially since they revealed all of them both at Anime Expo 2025 and at their latest TUDUM. In fact, you can find out about them all below:
