Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2  Finally has a release date. Today, Disney Channel announced that the Russo family will return to Disney on September 12. Luckily, Disney+ fans Stream Wizards Beyond Waverly Place on October 8. Just a few weeks later! If that weren’t exciting enough, the show is bringing back some familiar faces for Season 2. Selena Gomez returns to Wizards Beyond Waverly Place as Alex Russo in some guest roles this season. Zombies 4 fans get excited for Freya Skye to make an appearance as well. Harvey Guillen, Kristen Vangsness and Recker Eans are also making the trip to Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2. Nostalgia is in full effect with returns from Mr. Laritate and Mantooth. Amanda Tepe makes a big special appearance during this year’s Christmas-themed episode too!

Here’s what’s coming in the new episodes: “In Season 2 of “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” Billie grapples with the fact that being part of the Russo family might be more complicated than she thought —especially now that she’s not the only wizard in the house. Thanks to Roman and Milo’s new magical powers, Justin is now tasked with training three young wizards for the Family Wizard Competition. As the stakes rise inside and outside the family, a mysterious new threat emerges, one that could unravel the Russos forever.”

The series stars David Henrie (as Justin Russo), Janice LeAnn Brown (as Billie), Alkaio Thiele (as Roman Russo), Max Matenko (as Milo Russo), Taylor Cora (as Winter) and Mimi Gianopulos (as Giada Russo).

Disney Channel welcomes the Russos back for a new season on September 12 and Disney+ airs the new episodes on October 8.
