Just as fans of “One Piece” are getting excited for season 2 of the live-action animated series on Netflix, they reveal it has been renewed for a third season, saying it “sets sail soon”.

During the annual “One Piece” celebration in Tokyo, Japan this weekend, Netflix revealed that production for season 3 will start in Cape Town, South Africa later this year. Ian Stokes is set to join Joe Tracz as co-showrunner for the third season. But all you Straw Hat Pirates needs to slow down a bit as the second season isn’t being released on the streaming service until sometime in 2026.

But the streamer giant didn’t leave us empty handed also giving us a first-look at that highly anticipated second season take a look below!

What a time to be alive, as we take more characters Eiichiro Oda’s manga, which is the highest-selling manga of all time in Japan, and transform them into a live-action adaptation. This of course on top of the fan-favorite anime. You can also check out some stills from the first look below!
