KPop Demon Hunters is getting a Sing-Along Event for fans to celebrate their favorite new band. Netflix announced that viewers in the United States and Canada can pack a theater on August 23 and 24. HUNTR/X and SAJA BOYS get their moment in front of the crowd with those amazing songs. On August 13 at 6am PT, ticket sales open for the sing-along event. Netflix’s animated feature is nothing short of a phenomenon. KPop Demon Hunters is the first animated feature to grace the Most Popular Movies List (English) and the soundtrack has hit 3 billion streams. Golden actually got to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. So, expect those sing-along screenings to sell out.

Fans all over the world have been sharing love for KPop Demon Hunters. That Hashtag Show’s Sarah Carey reviewed the Netflix Original for our site. In short, she loved it and tabbed the film as her new animated film of the year. It seems like the general audience broadly agrees with that after looking at those streaming numbers!

“I loved everything about KPop Demon Hunters, from the stunning animation to the addictive K-pop soundtrack and the heartfelt story about fear, belonging, friendship, and love,” she wrote. “The film had me completely hooked within the first 30 seconds. I found myself picking my favorite Huntrix member (Rumi, in case you’re wondering) and singing all the songs.”
