Netflix has released the highly anticipated first look at BOOTS, a powerful new coming-of-age series set in the intense and unpredictable world of the U.S. Marine Corps. Premiering October 9, the series stars Miles Heizer (13 Reasons Why), Liam Oh, Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring), Max Parker, and an ensemble cast of rising talent.
Set in the 1990s, BOOTS follows Cameron Cope (Heizer), a directionless and closeted young man who enlists in the Marine Corps alongside his straight best friend, Ray. The two join a diverse group of recruits, navigating brutal training, unexpected friendships, and self-discovery in a world built on discipline and survival.

Miles Heizer has a lot of share about the series:
“Boots was easily the hardest and most fun thing I’ve ever been a part of. The show is interesting because it manages to find the humor in a very intense experience.”
Heizer also emphasized the tight-knit bond formed on set:
“We were essentially together all day, every day of filming, and got incredibly close. In a way, the show sort of mirrors our real experience…”
With its raw storytelling, authentic characters, and a standout ‘90s soundtrack, BOOTS offers a fresh, emotional take on masculinity, identity, and belonging.
Heizer promises:
“There really isn’t another show like BOOTS. It’s very funny, uplifting… you’ll probably cry as well.”
BOOTS is poised to be a breakout hit for Netflix this fall. Don’t miss the premiere on October 9, only on Netflix. Stay tuned for the official trailer and more behind-the-scenes content.
