Zootopia 2 Just debuted the new music video for Shakira’s single, Zoo. In the upbeat new track, the international pop star plays Zootopia’s reigning diva. Gazelle thrills the audience with a dynamite performance of Zoo in the new movie. But, in our world, having Shakira along for the ride with Zootopia 2 is just as fun. The trailers for Zootopia have been all over the place lately. Disney is very excited to welcome audiences back to one of their biggest franchises running. This time, Judy and Nick are after Gary DeSnake, played by Ke Huy Quan. Reptile predators aren’t really the bad guys. Disney has a brand-new synopsis for the fall blockbuster: “In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2, detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down.”
“To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. Oscar winner Jared Bush (co-director/co-writer Zootopia, director/co-writer “Encanto”) is directing and writing; Yvett Merino (Oscar-winning producer “Encanto”) produces. Zootopia 2 hits theaters in November 2025.”
